膝グループの子島です。2025年12月、米国の University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences より、Benjamin Stronach 先生が当院を訪問してくださいました。
今回の訪問では、私が執刀した膝骨切り術を1件見ていただき、術前計画から術中の工夫に至るまで、ディスカッションを行うことができました。
海外の先生と、実際の手術を通して直接議論できる機会は非常に貴重であり、私にとっても多くの学びがありました。
また、Stronach 先生にとってはアジア初訪問とのことで、手術見学後には日本の食事を楽しんでいただきました。
病院内だけでなく、日本の文化や食を通じた交流も含め、非常に印象深い時間となりました。
今後もこのような国際的な交流を大切にしながら、手術や研究の質を高めていきたいと考えています。
In December 2025, Dr. Benjamin Stronach from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), USA, kindly visited our hospital.
During his visit, Dr. Stronach observed one of our knee osteotomy procedures, followed by in-depth discussions regarding preoperative planning and surgical techniques. Having the opportunity to exchange ideas face-to-face with an international colleague was an extremely valuable experience for our entire team.
We believe that such exchanges contribute significantly to improving surgical procedures and research. Our department actively welcomes visiting surgeons and observers from abroad.
